Le Château Observatoire Abbadia 🏰
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Contributor Niall Thomas created this stunning drone video of a Neo-Gothic castle in Southern France. It's called the Château d'Abbadia, and it's located near the town of Hendaye in Pyrénées-Atlantiques, the southwesternmost department of metropolitan France which is part of the Occitanie region. The castle was built in the late 19th century by well known architect Eugène Viollet-le-Duc. Its initial owner was Antoine Thomson d'Abbadie, a well known French explorer and man of letters.

Le Château Observatoire Abbadia 🏰 Opened in 1879 and home to the great explorer Antoine Thomson d’Abbadie, this stunning castle overlooks the town of Hendaye on the Basque Coast. Awesome views and big open fields facing the Atlantic makes this one of my favorite places to visit when in 🇫🇷
