Le Donjon

Contributor Toni Video created this beautiful drone video of a semi-ruined castle in northern France.  Château de La Roche-Guyon is situated in Val-d'Oise, one of the Departments which makes up the Île-de-France region that includes the national capital.  The chateau was built in the 13th century on the Seine River, in a strategic location relative to routes between Paris and Normandy.  During World War II, the town was used as bunker location by German Field Marshall Erwin Rommel.
