Liberation Tower

One of the more notable landmarks of Kuwait City is Liberation Tower, a communication tower which stands 372 meters (over 1.2k ft.) above the streets of the Kuwaiti capital.  The tower was under construction when Kuwait was invaded by Iraq in 1990, eventually triggering the first Iraq war.  The tower was completed in 1993, and its name was changed to commemorate the liberation of the country by UN forces during the conflict.  Contributor Ishqification crated this rather amazing drone video of the tower.
