Lichtenstein & Hohenzollern Castles
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Top AirVuz contributor Mattcoq created this stunning drone view of Germany's Lichtenstein and Hohenzellorn Castles, two of Europe's most famous Gothic Revival landmarks. Both are situated in the southwestern state of Baden-Württemberg, and were built on the site of earlier structures. Completed in 1842, Lichtenstein Castle was built for Wilhelm, Duke of Urach, a local nobleman. Hohenzollern Castle was completed in 1867. It was the ancestral seat of the Hohenzollern family, which ruled Prussia and then all of Germany until 1918.

Before entering France and after crossing Europe since the Black Sea Coast in Bulgaria, I passed this region famous for its castles and decided to stop to visit (fly) them ... Conditions weren't perfect, especially the light haze but I was there and decided to take my chances ... These two castles are really great pieces of architecture. Enjoy the flight ...
