Lighthouse - Forte de São Julião da Barra
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
During the 16th century, the then-mighty Kingdom of Portugal constructed a series of fortresses along the banks of the Tagus River estuary to protect its capital city Lisbon from its main vulnerability - seaborne invasion. The most important of these was the Fort of São Julião da Barra, which is located on a promontory on the northern bank of the river's final outlet. AirVuz contributor and pilot DroneCascais used a DJI Mavic Pro drone to create a spectacular bird's eye view great fort, which was completed in 1568.
