Lugano slowly awakens from lockdown. Spring 2020.

New contributor LuganoDroni brings us this excellent drone video of the city of Lugano as the unofficial capital of Italian-speaking Switzerland emerged from the COVID-19 quarantine in the Spring of 2020.  The video opens with shots of the  modern parts of the city, which lies on the western side of Lake Lugano.  Then you'll head to the historic heart of the city on the lake waterfront, along the Riva Vincenzo Vela road.  The city is the heart of a region known as the Sottoceneri, which covers the southern part of the canton of Ticino.
