It's situated on the banks of the Fraser River, one of BC's main waterways, which runs just north of the US/Canadian border and empties into the Strait of Georgia. Mission is easily accessible from Vancouver, which lies about 75 km (around 45 mi.) northwest of the town on the Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 W.
