Madonna della Corona

Among the more improbable-looking marvels of northern Italy is the Madonna della Corona Church, which is seemingly built right into the side of a cliff.  Seen from above in this drone video by, it's located on the side of Monte Baldo, just to the east of Lake Garda in the province of Verona.  Originally the site of a monastery, the church was built in the 16th century.  Virtually inaccessible for centuries, the church slipped into disrepair before being restored in the 20th century and made accessible via a new path.
