Roslin Glen just lies a couple of hundred of metres from Roslin Chapel as made famous in the DaVinci Code. I went to film a couple of Sweet Chestnut trees that are approx 400-500 years old. The woods are said to be a magical place by people who are into paganism, nature worship and witchcraft etc. Visit the website and you will see the kind of people who frequent these woods among others and that i am not making this up. You'll also see both trees i wanted to film. http://landofthefae.blogspot.com/2016/08/roslin-glen-and-rose-line.html The day i was filming i met an attractive young lady in a hooded cloak performing a ritual around a fire and banging a hand drum. I was hoping she might ask me to lie down with her and perhaps make the antichrist, but it was not to be. Later as i was filming there were a couple of people in similar cloaks watching me film one of the sweet chestnut trees. You can see at least one of them just peeking out of the woods between the 9 and 10 o'clock position at approx 05:35. As i've seen the Wicker Man (Which is set in Scotland by the way) i decided to leave as i didn't want my own chestnuts roasted!!
