Maldives Male Atoll

The Indian Ocean island nation of the Maldives consists of a series of tiny atolls spread throughout a large stretch of the Indian Ocean.  The most important of these is the Malé Atoll, consisting of a north and south island, the latter of which is the country's capital, Malé.  The Malé Atoll is situated toward the northern end of the Maldives archipelago, which stretches for a length of about 2k km (around 1.2k mi.).  You can check out this bit of paradise from above in this drone video by contributor gyrex.
