The marble lake is located near the village of Pravoslav, Chirpan region, on the site of the former marble quarry, on the eastern slope of the Bailaka mound. The place can be reached by turning left from the road to the village of Pravoslav, about a kilometer before the village itself, coming from the town of Brezovo. There is a large marble stone in the shape of an obelisk on the turnoff. After about 500m driving on a dirt road, you reach a makeshift parking lot, from which you continue another 200m walk to the lake. The lake is impressive, its color is light blue to greenish, and the water is flat like a mirror. The abandoned marble quarry was gradually filled with water, reaching a depth of 20 m. The water of the lake is rainy, naturally filtered and very clear. In recent years, the marble lake has become a favorite picnic spot in the summer heat. Bathing in the lake is forbidden, but this does not deter confident swimmers. From the marble terraces of the quarry, lovers of extreme experiences make spectacular jumps into the water. The lake is also used by scuba divers for training activities. Huge stone blocks are scattered all over the region, and the terraces of the quarry are marked by cutting machines - traces that remind of the former purpose of this place.
