Megalithic Ireland

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Take an aerial tour of some sites of ancient Ireland in this fantastic drone video by top contributor Dronescapes Ireland.  The first stop is the Grianan of Aileach in County Donegal, a circular hillfort which dates to the 6th-7th centures AD.  At the :15 mark, you'll see the great Dún Aonghasa fortress, built on a cliff on the island of Inishmore in Galway Bay; it's one of Ireland's most famous prehistoric structures.  Other locations include the Dún Eochla fortress (also on Inishmore), the Rathcoran and Caherconnel forts, and more.
