Mexico City is home to nearly ten million within its legal territory, and it's the center of a metropolitan area of well over 20 million - the largest in the Western Hemisphere.  As the city has grown and become more prosperous, its vehicle fleet has mushroomed - according to a 2018 study, the vehicle population of the city grew by over 600% since the turn of the century.  With the road infrastructure unable to keep up with the vehicle growth, the city faces epic traffic jams like what you'll see from above in this drone video by Normal Mexican Guy.
