AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : "El dia de los Muertos" or "Day of the Dead" is an important holiday in Mexican culture; it combines elements of Christian and native rituals. Top Contributor Face Du Mond traveled to Southern Mexico one October spending time around Quintana Roo, Yucatán and Campeche states. Using his drone and ground cameras, he created an unforgettable view of Mexico during the period leading up to the holiday (which occurs in early November), capped off by a candlelit Día de Los Muertos celebration.

Since I was a kid, it always has been a dream of mine to see "El dia de los Muertos" in Mexico. So last October my friend Max and I decided to travel there. It was my second time in this country I really fell in love with. We spent 3 weeks travelling around Quintana Roo, Yucatán and Campeche states. I made this video to show how this country has his own culture, his own history that you will find nowhere else in the world. "El dia de los Muertos" is an event everybody should see once in his life, it really represents the Mexican soul.
