Migratory Birds of Kuwait 4K l The Drone Life PK
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Most of Kuwait's human population of about four million lives around Kuwait Bay, a major inlet of the northern Persian Gulf. The extensive lagoons and wetlands here also support a large bird population. While some species are native, a larger number use the nutrient rich waters here to sustain some of the most important migratory flows in Eurasia. In this drone video by top contributor The Drone Life PK, you'll get an aerial view of the bird population near Shuwaikh Port, southwest of Kuwait city on the eastern side of the bay.

One of the most fascinating mass bird migration is not very well known to many in Kuwait. During winter season the wetlands and rocky terrain across the Kuwaiti shoreline, one can witness and see flocks of flamingos, waterfowl, gulls, terns and waders, numbering in the thousands at a single site. The most prominent site near the capital is Kuwait Bay also known as "Al Hishaan" near Shuwaikh Port.
