Mirador de Cristo Rey
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
One of the most well-known landmarks of the Colombian city of Cali is the Christ the King (Cristo Rey) statue atop a hill overlooking the city. It's located in the town of Los Andes, which is situated just to the west of Colombia's third-largest city and the largest in the western part of the country. Standing 26 meters (around 85 ft.), the statue was completed in 1953. Seen here in this drone video by la.drones, the statue was erected to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the civil conflict known as the War of a Thousand Days.
