Perched 45 metres above Montreal's Saint-Henri neighbourhood, the mysterious Pink House has become one of the city's most unusual landmarks.

Its story began in October 2019, when unknown artists transformed an old industrial control cabin atop the abandoned Canada Malting factory into a tiny pink house. Over the years, green shutters, curtains, flower boxes, and even Christmas decorations appeared, adding to the mystery of who was behind it all.

The factory itself dates back to 1905 and was once one of Canada's major malt-producing facilities, supplying the brewing industry. After decades of abandonment, the historic complex is now facing partial demolition due to structural safety concerns.

Fortunately, the famous Pink House is not included in the current demolition plans and is expected to survive!

I captured this 16-minute drone orbit and transformed it into a cinematic hyperlapse, with dramatic clouds breaking apart over this remarkable piece of Montreal's industrial history.

A little tribute to the Pink House - still standing against the odds! 🩷
