The Air was thick with moisture and and very hazy morning. Mooloolah River National Park.. A major filtration system for the Mooloolah river and it's surrounds. With Development on the Sunny Coast Door Step I cannot help but be slightly anxious for this area...I think it's the third largest Nat Park in our region, it crosses two arterial roadways, and is home to 700 different species of Plant, and can't imagine how many different types of animals live here. Adjoining Mooloolah River, this park protects valuable remnants of coastal lowland habitat—rainforest, open eucalypt woodlands, melaleuca forests, wallum banksia woodlands, scribbly gum open forests, wallum heath and sedgelands. I'd hate to think what would happen if we lost this. Most of a pass by this everyday and don't think twice ,regarding it as;useless swamp land...that's why I worry....We cannot and I will not let this Happen...A great place to fly and test no-one whats to be eaten alive by insects.....and if the the bird falls from the sky it lands and cushioned heath...well it's better than concrete. !!! or ocean ...
