Mount Bromo

Award-winning contributor and drone pilot Fabio Knoll created this epic aerial look at Mt. Bromo, an active volcano in East Java, Indonesia.  Named after a Hindu god, the volcano is part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, which covers an eastern section of Indonesia's most populous island.  The volcano has been in a state of eruption or near-eruption during much of the 21st century thus far, leading to numerous warnings and advisories.  Nevertheless, it continues to be one of the biggest tourist attractions in Java.
