Mount Rainier Reveal DJI Inspire 2 X7 50mm

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Top contributor mikereidphotography used a DJI Xenmuse 2 X7 camera mounted to a DJI Inspire 2 drone to create this magnificent "reveal" shot of the Mt. Rainier, one of the USA's most famous peaks. The video was filmed from Chinook Pass looking west toward the eastern slope of the great stratovolcano, the tallest mountain in the Cascades range with a summit elevation of 14.4k ft. above sea level (just under 4.4k m). In the foreground of the video is Yakima Peak, which has a peak altitude of 6.2k ft. ASL (1.9k m).

After catching the sunrise at Lake Tipsoo, I quickly moved up to Chinook Pass, just outside the Park. I sent the Inspire 2 up with the X7 camera and DL 50mm lens for a mountain reveal just past Yakima Peak. I love this view at this time of the day and the 50 makes it more intimate.
