Mountain surfing in Mallorca - This is why I love FPV!!

Like many others apparently, Niklas Christl's video about 'Beginner vs Pro FPV pilot' on Youtube triggered me to head out to Mallorca and go fly around this beautiful island. The result was 290GB of high bitrate, silky smooth, Reelsteady GO stabilized, high vibrance footage with the prettiest of vistas I've ever shot myself from my beloved GoPro Hero 9 Black. My mind is blown just how pretty that place is and how many beautiful spots are up for grabs. I was also impressed by the high quaility of the footage I got from that GoPro Hero 9 Black. I have been using it for the better part of a year now for all my client shoots but this was the first time I actually used the footage in my own projects and I'm kinda blown away now. I met quite a few people out there who talked about the recent surge of FPV drone pilots visiting the area and all of them -like me- seem to be going there after seeing the video of Niklas Christl: https://youtu.be/CnGk-xjv5vg Some of the spots were really easy to find while others just like presented themselves as if they WANTED to be found and explored. One of the things I REALLY wanted to do was mounting surfing with the FPV drones. I've seen so many videos featuring these beautiful mountain surfing lines and they looks SOOOO DOPE. I wanted to give it a shot myself and see if I could actually muster up the courage to do it and get real close and personal while the drone is several kilometers away from you somehwere up in the mountains. Spoiler: Once you start trusting your gear, things become GREAT fun 😄 The whole trip was amazing. Mallorca (a Spanish island in the Mediterranean Sea) is easily accessible, cheap to stay and rent a car and absolutely FPV heaven. I look forward to going there again and doing all of this over but even longer!
