Mountains

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Here's a beautiful wintertime aerial view of Romania's Apuseni Mountains, compliments of contributor P-terfi.  The Apuseni's form part of the Western Carpathian Mountains, which sit in the west-central part of the country.  The highest mountain in the range is Cucurbăta Mare, which has a peak elevation of about 1.85k meters (around 6.2k ft.).  The Apuseni's, which do not form a continuous line, mark the dividing line between the region of Transylvania and the Great Hungarian Plain to its west.
