Mtn Moto SnowBike Racing

Mtn Moto put on three National Snowbike Association races the winter of 2022. I got to film two of the three events. This event was located in Northern Idaho just off the pristine Priest Lake.

Snowbikes have been around in the Pacific Northwest for years, but still a new type of motorsport for the rest of North America.

These 450cc or larger dirtbikes are converted to snow travel by removing the rear tire and putting on a rear snowmobile track. The front tire is removed and a ski is put in its place. Operation is for the most part the same- still need to work the clutch, brakes, suspension, etc.
