NAZARÉ — The Power of the Atlantic (FPV Drone)

Nazaré is a place where nature reveals its true scale. These images were captured during the winter swells of 2025, flying close to the ocean, the cliffs and the iconic lighthouse that stands above the Nazaré Canyon. What may look effortless on screen often comes from many hours in the cold, studying the ocean and waiting for the right moment. Over the years, this place has also taken its toll. I have lost drones here while trying to push closer to the waves and water explosions that define Nazaré. But those moments are part of the journey. Each flight is a balance between precision, respect for the ocean, and the constant pursuit of a perspective that few people ever experience. Through drone and FPV flight, my goal is to reveal the raw energy of this place — the movement of the waves, the immense power of the Atlantic, and the scale of one of the most extraordinary natural stages on Earth. This film brings together some of the most powerful moments I captured this season in Nazaré, Portugal.
