Neuschwanstein Castle

This fairytale look of the Neuschwanstein castle inspired Walt Disney to create Cinderella's castle in the 1950 cartoon film. The Neuschwanstein Castle is the most visited castle in Germany, and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The castle is located in Bavaria, near the town of Fussen. It was built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, also known as the “Fairytale King”. The Pilgrimage Church st.Coloman Located at the foot of the Schwangauer mountains, and also near the world-famous castle Neuschwanstein, the church is one of the most famous monuments in Bavaria. The baroque church was built in the 17th century on the ruins of an earlier temple erected in honor of St. Koloman. Apparently, this Irish pilgrim was resting here in the summer of 1012 during his pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
