New quad day.... IQ5 Maiden 9 16 2017

So after bending the 4mm carbon of the IX5, i transplanted the parts over to a new frame called the "Interchangeable Quad". Took this out for a maiden, and changed up the colour scheme. This is now called "The Jolly Green Giant" This frame is AWESOME, with the same frame parts, you can have a 5 inch true-X, 5 inch Stretch-X or a 6 inch True-X. There are two versions. The IQ-Sport and the IQ-Sport-R with more frames in the series coming soon. I have the IQ Sport. The IQ Sport-R is the racing version of the frame with a shorter body. It's 4mm Carbon throughout the arms, 3mm top and 2mm bottom decks and as standard is 30.5mm standoffs - I have gone for the "slammed" look and dropped it down to 20mm, with the RX under the flight controller and the VTX on the top gives a nice slimline look. I also got a bunch of TPU parts from Brain3D - http://brain3d.co - A lot of their standard stingy and RDQ Mach 1 parts fit on this frame. I'm using their Micro fpv cam mount, their antenna tube holders and their VTX tray as well as their GoPro Mount and ESC covers. The frame is designed by Donovan "Wolphie" Peruyero Jr out of Palm Coast Florida and is one of the chapter organisers for the Palm Coast Wolf Pack Multi-GP group. I've gone for the 6 on 5 approach which is a 6 inch frame, but 5 inch props. This gives it a beefy look but also gives me the option of throwing some sixers on there if i want to without changing the frame.
