The Sierra Sur de Jaén is part of Jaén, one of the landlocked provinces of the Andalusia region. The range is part of a larger system known as the Baetic Belt, a series of ranges which run roughly east-west across the region. The highest peak of the Sierra Sur de Jaén is Pico Pandera, which has a maximum elevation of just under 1.9k meters above sea level (around 6.1k ft.).
