AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this epic drone video of the Poppy Line railroad, a historical steam railway line in Norfolk, England. The 8 km (5 mi) track connects the towns of Sheringham and Holt, through a beautiful stretch of the countryside of the East Anglia region. The railway is accessible via a roughly two-hour drive from London. Content creator and pilot Joshua Paul Gardner does an excellent job of aerially filming the locomotive and six cars along the length of the track, once part of a larger railroad system that served the region.

EPISODE 8 // North Norfolk Railway - Poppy Line The Poppy Line, also known as the North Norfolk Railway, is a beautifully and lovingly run Heritage Steam Railway that gives you the chance to lose yourself to nostalgia and forces you to just sit back and enjoy the slower pace of life that once was! The line, which is just over 5 miles (8.0 km) long, once formed part of the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway. Work on rebuilding the line started in 1965, and on 4 June 1967, two steam locomotives were delivered. The operating company, North Norfolk Railway plc, was launched in 1965 following the granting of two Light Railway Orders. In May 1973, the railway was the scene of filming for the episode "The Royal Train" of the popular TV programme Dad's Army. The railway won the 'Independent Railway of the Year' award in 2006. 92203 was built in 1959 by British Railways and allocated to heavy iron ore trains on Merseyside. The engine was withdrawn in 1967 and purchased by David Shepherd, who named the locomotive Black Prince.
