AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Amongst the many cultural treasures of Northern Greece is the town of Didymoteicho. Seen here in this drone video by content creator Kostas Gur, the town is situated in the far northeastern part of the country, in the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Region. It lies in a strategic position, in effect controlling one of the approaches through the mountains into the great Thracian Plain, one of the most important food-growing areas in Southeastern Europe. The video was shot as the area was blanketed in snow.
