Nubble Point: Cape Neddick Light

Abad_photography created this stunning drone video of one of the most well known lighthouses in New England.  Cape Neddick Light sits on a tiny Nubble Island, just a few yards off of Cape Neddick, Maine.  Opened in 1878, the lighthouse stands 12 meters (about 40 ft.) tall.  It is still operational.  Cape Neddick is one of the peninsulas which justs into the Atlantic Ocean from the Maine coast.  Due to the rocky and difficult-to-navigate coastline, lighthouses have long played an outsized role here.
