Nusa Penida - Indonesia
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Top contributor Sandrine Hecq travels to some of the world's most exotic places to make travel videos for her social media audience. To make this magnificent video, nominated for DVOW in June 2019, she traveled to the island of Nusa Penida in Indonesia's Bali province. It's situated more or less due east of Denpasar, the provincial capital, which lies at the southern end of Bali's main island. Nusa Penida is known for its bird sanctuaries, mountainous interior, white-sand beaches, and world-class diving.
A few months ago we got to explore one of the best Islands in Bali. This island is called Nusa Penida:) I couldn’t believe this place existed! Whether you're into drones or love traveling, this is a must watch video. Nusa Penida is an island southeast of Indonesia's island Bali and a district of Klungkung Regency that includes the neighboring small island of Nusa Lembongan. The Badung Strait separates the island and Bali. The interior of Nusa Penida is hilly with a maximum altitude of 524 meters. It is drier than the nearby island of Bali. There is very little tourist infrastructure. I never expected Bali to have this hidden gem and would highly recommend it. Enjoy the video and I hope you will get to see this island with your own eyes one day.
