AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Here's a nice aerial view of a well known monastery complex in southern Germany, compliments of Obendrohne. It's the Scheyern Abbey, and it's located in its namesake town in the Oberbayern administrative region of Bavaria. The monastery of the Benedictine Order was founded in the early 12th century. The monastery is the home of the True Cross of Jerusalem, an important religious icon which has been a pilgrimage destination for centuries. The monastery was restored in the Rococo fashion in the late 18th century.

#OBENDROHNE - Today I fly over the Benedictine abbey in Scheyern in Upper Bavaria with my drone video. It is also the first and oldest burial place for the Wittelsbach family, in the choir chapel of the monastery.
