Oosterzee-Buren & Het Tsjûkemar - Drone Video

The video opens with footage of the village of Oosterzee in Friesland, one of the two main northern Dutch provinces (along with Groningen). From there, you'll head just a bit north to the lake known as Tsjûkemar. It's one of the largest of the Frisian Lakes, a group of about two dozen lakes which covers part of southwestern Friesland and which is a popular aquatic recreation area.

Oosterzee is a small village in the north of the Netherlands. The village consists of two areas, Oosterzee-Buren and Oosterzee-Gietersebrug. Here we can see Oosterzee-Buren which has not a lot of houses and a very small population. The village has a neoclassical church built in 1860. In the background and later on in the video we see a big lake called Tjeukemeer. This lake is the largest inland waterway in the Dutch province of Friesland. In Frisian its called: Tsjûkemar.
