Operation Drone Rescue Code Name Fly Fishing

It was one year ago today, Operation Drone Rescue took place. Code Name: Fly Fishing .. Here’s the story. If you follow my instagram feed you know I love to shoot at Sunrise and Sunset. This particular morning my family and I were on the coast. I left the hotel to go fly around the lighthouse and captured the sunset. 6:40 am I Take off and 2 mins and 9 secs in I crash upside down on top of the light house. From 7 am to 10:30 am I called everyone I could find to find out who owned the lighthouse. Finally got the owners cell number. Called him. Started explaining and he hung up on me. I was stunned. I called back we spoke for another minute and he hung up on me again. At this point I was in a panic and didn’t know how to get the drone down. I called my business partner and without hesitation, He macgyvered a hook assembly for our Inspire 1 and drove 5 hours to meet me. The video speaks for itself. Greatest Drone rescue I have ever witnessed. Scott You ROCK… Gutsiest move I ever saw!!
