One of the largest expanses of temperate coastal sand dunes in the world, the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area is a unique place. The mix of dunes, forests, and ocean in such close proximity is part of what makes the area so special. In 1972, Congress designated a 31,500-acre portion of the area into a National Recreation Area. The location also makes for one heck of a freestyle FPV spot. As pilot dramafree says, just don’t lose your quad in the sand!
