PNB 118 - World's second tallest tower in progress

PNB 118, also known as Merdeka 118, is a 118-storey, 644-metre (2,113-foot) megatall skyscraper currently under construction in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Upon completion (expected in year 2022), the structure is expected to become the tallest building in Malaysia (surpassing the Petronas Towers) and in the Southeast Asian region. It will also be the second-tallest building in the world once finished, surpassing the Shanghai Tower despite the latter having 128 storeys, and will take the title by virtue of its 144-metre-tall (472 ft) spire.
