Pacific Coast Highway's Gem: Big Sur
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Contributor and pilot project jayden skillfully combined drone and ground camera footage to create this amazing travel video from California's fabled Big Sur, a stretch of Pacific coastline that extends from Carmal to Morrow Bay. This roughly 150 km (around 90 mi) stretch is home to some of the most spectacular natural scenery in North America. The video features footage from the following locations: Morro Bay, LimeKiln State Park, Montana De Oro, the Bixby Bridge, and the Hearst Castle.

Pacific Coast Highway in California is one of the most scenic and picturesque drives in all of the United States. The 90 mile stretch between Morro Bay and Monterey features pristine coastlines with various large rock formations coming out of the water and rolling hills. We planned this 3 day trip in August when the weather was at it's best. We opted to stay in Morro Bay / Santa Maria as we didn't want to take on a 7 hour drive all at once with a toddler in the backseat and off to Big Sur the following day. Big Sur is simply breathtaking. Every 5 minutes I felt like getting out of the car to take a picture. Definitely something I highly recommend especially if you call this beautiful state your home.
