Parys by Drone - Video 1

After the recent rains I just had to visit Parys in the Free State, South Africa, to see how the water level has risen and what the many rapids on the Vaal river looked like.

Only one sluice gate was open at the upstream Barrage which made for average water flow downstream. Water was very dirty as could be expected after the rain.

Two fails on this trip. I forgot to press "record" when flying the second mission, and I flew the drone into a big tree. No permanent damage though but still a big scare.
