Pearl of Madeira

Small village of Paul do Mar in Madeira was our home for over a week in the spring of 2019. The village is located at the southwest of Madera. Over the centuries, Paul do Mar was built on a steep hillside and on the other hand close waves. The houses are solid and old. There are lot of stairs everywhere. At the end of March, it seemed that we were the only tourists in the village. The younger peoples from the village is useless to seek and the communication with the parents was a little tricky. We didn't speak Portuguese, nor did they speak English. However, the atmosphere was very peaceful and after sunset there was little to do, so it was a good reason to go to bed early. Dronen's flying spot is gorgeous unless you take into account the harsh sparkling wind, fog, rain, drone-interested people ... the lush and mountainous landscape is like being created for photography, but the nature parks in the central part of the island limit the annoyance of filming. The beach strips are for the most part free areas for flying and shooting. More than 1Tb of material on the journey, the processing and editing of which takes time.
