Penfield Reef Lighthouse by Drone

Penfield Reef Light is a famous lighthouse in Long Island Sound, just off the coast of Fairfield, Connecticut.  Operating since 1874 and still manned, it was one of the last lighthouses to be built of masonry before the state of the art shifted to cast iron construction.  It sits on the partially submerged Penfield Reef, a particularly hazardous spot in the Sound, which separates New England from New York's Long Island.  Seen from above in this drone video by Santiago, the lighthouse is on the US National Register of Historic Places.
