This guy is one of my favorite surfers right now. I’ve been following his journey since he was just a boy, cheering him on as he grew from a playful wave rider into a determined competitor at the Asian amateur level. A true kampung boy at heart, he lives by the beach and carries the dream of every young surfer in Malaysia to become like his uncle one of the best wave rippers in Cherating. His positive smile and good vibes, both in and out of the water, have made him a beloved figure in the local surf scene. Here in Cherating, there are now more surf facilities and support systems than ever, helping new talents like him grow stronger with every swell. But above all, one thing remains important: to always respect the locals, the ocean, and the community that makes this surf culture so special.
