Pešića Lake is located on the edge of the Biogradska gora National Park and after Biogradsko Lake it is the second largest lake on the Bjelasica Mountain. The lake is located in one of the largest circuses in Bjelasica, in the area between its highest peaks: Crna glava (2,137 m above sea level), Zekova Glava (2,116 m above sea level) and Belila (2,059 m above sea level). If you come to the lake from the Tara valley, then the path to the lake leads through the Mušovića river valley, over the Vranjak katun and the Zekova glava peak. Pesica Lake is 290m long, and the maximum width is about 165m. If you decide to walk along the lake, keep in mind that the length of the shore is up to 800m in summer and up to 1,200m in spring due to higher water levels. The average depth in the lake is about 3m, and the maximum depth is considered to be about 8m. The legend of the winged horse is connected to this lake. According to legend, a white winged horse emerged from the waters of this lake at night, whose beauty the fairies secretly admired.
