Piazza Plebiscito Napoli

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

AiVuz contributor Mario Penny brings us this excellent drone video of the Piazza del Plebiscito, a major public square in the Italian city of Naples.  The square is named after the plebiscite of 1860 which unified the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies with the Kingdom of Italy, one of the most important steps in the creation of the modern State of Italy.  The "star" of the video is the San Francesco di Paola church, on the western side of the square.  Completed in 1816, it was designed to resemble the Pantheon in Rome.
