The Pizol 5 Lakes Hike is one of the most spectacular hiking routes in eastern Switzerland. Located in the Pizol mountain range in the canton of St. Gallen, the trail crosses a beautiful Alpine landscape featuring five mountain lakes, each with its own colors and unique character. Along the route, hikers can also enjoy impressive views of the surrounding mountains and the Rhine Valley.

The hike passes several beautiful lakes, including Wangsersee, Wildsee, Schottensee, Schwarzsee, and Baschalvasee. The most famous is probably Wildsee, which on clear days reflects the surrounding Pizol peaks and glaciers. The contrast between the blue-green waters, rocky mountains, and alpine meadows creates a truly spectacular landscape.

The trail includes several ascents and descents as well as some rocky sections, so good fitness and proper hiking shoes are recommended. The route is particularly beautiful in summer and early autumn, when the changing colors of the Alpine landscape make the scenery even more impressive. The Pizol 5 Lakes Hike is an excellent choice for anyone looking to spend a memorable day in nature and discover some of Switzerland's most beautiful mountain scenery.
