Its name refers to the doca, a creeping plant from Chile, of the aizoaceae family, with large pink flowers and edible fruit, somewhat purgative. It is a small bay, with the sea almost always an intense blue and protected by a medium-height cliff. It is 5 km in a straight line from Laguna Verde, which becomes approximately 10 km of a winding road surrounded by pine trees. The bar generally produces a small wetland that accumulates the waters of the Estero de la quebrada. It is about 400 m in length of sand, by about 80 m wide in its greater part.
