How much time do you take to practice? Do you work at improving your flying? Developing your style? Or do you "just go out and rip"? I know that top level racers practice for hours each week to get that winning edge and some of the guys I know that do freestyle take the time to practice and master a given trick. It's easy to watch johnny_fpv and airblastr and some other top pilots and think "Man if I could only take my quad to some of those places I could do that too". I know that's what I thought when I first got into this hobby. What I'm finding is that it's stuff you don't see on Instagram, or Airvuz or YouTube that make the top level guys....well....top level. It's spending the hours at a local park that "you've been to 1000 times" perfecting a trick. It's doing the "playground flythroughs" that everybody does to work on throttle control and smoothness. It's doing online tutorials on video editing software to learn color grading and effects to really make your content stand out. So the next time you catch yourself feelling bored with "flying the same old spots" change your focus to see if you can use the opportunity to hone your skills because you never know when you'll get the opportunity to fly through the open doors of a $185,000 automobile. #keepitsquirty
