Plaza De España, Barcelona
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
AirVuz contributor and pilot Defjux created this remarkable bird's eye view of the Plaça d'Espanya, the greatest public square in Barcelona, Spain. It's in the Sants-Montjuïc, one of the city's ten official districts. The Plaça was built for the 1929 International Exposition, a happy time for the city which was remembered fondly when the country plunged into civil war only seven years later. The square is built at the junction of four of the city's most famous long thoroughfares.
