Point Vicente Lighthouse - Palos Verdes, CA

Ships sailing in and out of either of the two ports of Los Angeles to or from the north must navigate past Point Vincente, a small peninsula which extends outward from the much larger Palos Verde peninsula.  Not surprisingly, the point has been the sight of an important lighthouse since 1926.  Seen here in this drone video, the Point Vincente Lighthouse stands 20 meters (about 67 ft. tall).  Now on the National Register of Historic Places, this spot was a primary filming location for the 2017 World War II movie Dunkirk.
