Prins Christian Sund | Greenland
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Bdfilms.co.uk brings us this amazing aerial video from the very southern tip of the gigantic island of Greenland. Prince Christian Sound separates the mainland of Greenland from the islands of the Cape Farewell Archipelago. Being at the southern extremity of Greenland, it's actually a fairly temperate latitude, approximately level with Scotland and well south of Iceland and mainland Scandinavia. As you will see from the video, the area offers spectacular natural scenery.

Having spent a week trapped behind the ice, we sailed into the epic, Prins Christian Sund. With mountains over 1000m high rising from the water, the fjord cuts its way through the Southern tip of Greenland. Blessed with unusually calm conditions, our four Norwegian boats ventured through the ice, witnessing one of the greatest sights on the planet. S/Ys: Ohoi, Njorde, Nordavind and Aida
