Pushchino is a beautiful city of Soviet science on the Oka River

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

AirVuz contributor and pilot VadimUshKa brings us this excellent drone video of an important scientific town in Russia called Puschino.  It's located in the Moscow Oblast, about 100 km (around 60 mi.) south of the national capital.  Located on the Oka River (a major Volga tributary), the modern version of the town was founded in the 1950's to house a large new radio telescope.  The town subsequently became the home of two other scientific institutes, one devoted to microbiology and the other to agricultural chemistry.
